Rawlings' GGNP5G Gold Glove Gamer Replaces GGNP5B Gold Glove

Rawlings has replaced its Gold Glove model number GGNP5B with the Gold Glove Gamer model number GGNP5G.

At 11-3/4" and made with a shallow pocket, this glove is primarily an infielder’s glove, especially for those on the left side of the infield. It works best for the third basemen.

Like the Gold Glove, the Gold Glove Gamer features a Pro I web.

The Pro I web is a single post web that allows the player to better shape the pocket.

Rawlings' Gold Glove Gamer series gloves use pro quality materials and designs including authentic Rawlings Pro patterns and high-quality U.S.-made Pro grade laces. These gloves feature a new Pro soft leather that allows for a quicker, easier break-in and full-grain finger linings to maximize comfort and durability.

Jakey recently wrote an online review at RawlingsGear.com about his glove: "I would recommend using this glove at third base, but it would work at any infield position. Once broken in, the glove (as with most all Gold Gloves) is wide for fielding those ground balls, fast or slow. The laces are also a big part of this glove. They are not dry and have somewhat of a 'stretch' to them. This glove snags up the ball and keeps it from fumbling out; the grip is great. Overall I would suggest this glove to anyone who wants a great durable glove that won't wear out after one season."

The Gold Glove Gamer model number GGNP5G is not available in a left-handed model.
