Rawlings Gear Carries New TRIO™ BBCOR Bats

Get your Rawlings’ TRIO alloy bats, available with balanced or end-loaded barrels, at Rawlings Gear.

Both are BBCOR-certified baseball bats that feature Rawlings' TRIO technology, a three-piece barrel design consisting of a composite handle, a 5150 alloy barrel with pOp™ technology and a Comp-Lite composite end cap.

At Rawlings Gear, you'll find the TRIO Balanced BBCOR bat under model number BBTRIO and the TRIO End-Loaded BBCOR bat under model number BBTRI3.

Rawlings' TRIO balanced bat offers a balance point that is shifted away from the barrel to make it feel lighter, increasing swing speed and giving the hitter better performance.

Rawlings' TRIO end-loaded bat shifts the balance point toward the barrel, which is ideal for power hitters.

Both bats are constructed with the game-proven 5150 alloy with pOp™ barrel technology. This is Rawlings' most durable alloy, improving both swing speed and trampoline effect.

The Comp-Lite composite end cap in each bat features 36 percent more carbon fiber, lowering moment of inertia (MOI) and increasing swing speed.

These bats have a -3 drop and are designed for the college and high school levels.

The balanced bat ranges in length from 32” to 34”. The end-loaded bat comes in lengths of 33” and 34”.

Rawlings Gear carries Rawlings' entire selection of BBCOR-approved high school and collegiate bats.

Rawlings offers a 1-year warranty on its aluminum bats. The guarantee covers breakage or cracking that results from normal use. Abuse, such as hitting metal cleats, rocks or anything other than a ball, can damage the bat and will void the warranty. The warranty does not cover bats that have been used in commercial batting cages.

• NOCSAE® baseball batting helmet standards involve tests of baseballs fired from a cannon at 60 mph at a distance of 2 ft, which is roughly equivalent to an impact resulting from a pitch speed of 68 mph at a distance of 60 ft.
• The Rawlings Performance Rating™ System is based on pitch speeds at a distance of 60 ft.
• NOCSAE® standards require that a batting helmet withstand all test impacts at an established peak severity index (SI). Helmets also must survive all test protocols substantially intact and ready for use.
• The NOCSAE® standard is aimed at reducing the risk of skull fractures. The standard has not been correlated with reducing the risk of concussions from such impacts.
WARNING: Severe head or neck injury, including paralysis or death may occur to you despite using this helmet. No helmet can prevent all head injuries or any neck injuries a player might receive while participating in baseball or softball.
