Glove Break-In Tip

Remember that a lot of the leather used in Rawlings gloves is already treated with an oil so make sure you don't over do it with glove treatment oil when breaking it in. A light coat is all you need to get started (a little goes a long way, trust me).
The main thing to remember is to start wrenching and shaping it. You can always imitate catch sitting in front of the TV or computer by slamming a ball into it. Although playing catch and stretching the glove will give you the fastest results.
Just remember that a good Rawlings glove made out of top-notch leather (Primo, Pro Preferred, Heart of the Hide) takes some effort on your part to break in, but once it is, you'll have a glove that will last for years and fits you, well, like a glove. - Keith Miley, Sr. Customer Care Rep
