Rawlings Gear to Carry New Line of Premium Leather Bags and Wallets

Rawlings has teamed up with a St. Louis retailer to carry a line of leather goods inspired by St. Louis Cardinals Manager Mike Matheny.

This fall, Rawlings Gear will begin carrying leather briefcases, travel bags, duffles, wallets and money clips with a contemporary feel.

The agreement with Red Label Accessories came about after President Tony Spielberg noticed the attention Matheny got carrying an exclusive Rawlings bag through an airport.

The end result is two new lines—Rawlings Red Label and Rawlings Vintage America.

“We worked closely with Rawlings in order to remain true to the brand's iconic sporting history, while adding a sense of style and luxury with the Rawlings Red Label and Rawlings Vintage America lines,” Spielberg told Fashion Mannuscript.

Rawlings Red Label items are marked by their distinctive features, such as wallets and card cases with printed baseball scenes or red baseball stitching.

Rawlings Vintage America items feature a unique worn-in feel. They are created from vegetable tanned and washed leather and use custom brass hardware.
