Rawlings Gear carries the catcher's mitt in Rawlings' new Heart of the
Hide® Limited Edition line.
This Rawlings mitt (model number PROCM33C) features the
One Piece Closed web and a conventional back.
It also features Rawlings' new catcher’s mitt style, the CM33. The CM33
changes the angle of the catcher’s thumb and forefinger to create a deeper
pocket than other mitts and to relieve impact on the catching hand. Traditional
mitts have a thumb to forefinger angle of 62 degrees, but the new CM33 profile
creates an angle of 75 degrees.
The 33” mitt's One Piece Closed web is made for strength and
durability.
This Rawlings mitt is part of a line made with camel-colored Heart of
the Hide leather, a new look that uses the best pro styles and highest-quality
craftsmanship.
Rawlings has produced its Heart of the Hide® gloves
for more than 50 years. Gloves in this series are crafted from the top 5 percent
