Rawlings has expanded its line of 5-Tool Training products.
In partnership with Ripken Baseball, five new items have been added to help players improve their fielding, throwing, hitting for average, hitting for power and speed.
Rawlings’ 3-in-1 Net (model number 3IN1NET) converts from a standard hitting backstop to a pitching target to a bounce-back target. This 5' portable net can be used indoors or outdoors.
Adding to its lineup of batting tees, Rawlings has created the Quick Tee Pro (model number QUICKTEEPRO), a lightweight tee with folding legs that fits into any bat bag. Its wider, flexible tee top prevents resistance when swinging and withstands hours of hitting. This tee adjusts from 28 inches to 43 inches high and comes with a carrying bag.
RawlingsGear.com's highest-rated 5-Tool Training product is the Pro Training Glove, and now Rawlings has added the Gold Glove Series Training Glove (model number GG95TX). This 9.5” Gold Glove has a Single Post web with semi-conventional back and can be used like a real glove for youths or adults. The smaller size and shape is great for improving fielding.
To help improve players' hand-eye coordination, Rawlings has added the Lite Stick (model number LITESTIK). This training bat is designed to loosen fast twitch muscles and is available in 33” and 30” (model number LITESTIKJR) lengths. It is packaged with six 5-inch plastic training balls.
Finally, Rawlings has added 5” Tape Balls (model number TAPEBALL12IN) that match the weight and feel of rolled-up athletic tape. These balls can be used to improve contact but have extra weight for better swing feedback and trajectory. These balls are sold in a 12 pack and should be used with the Hand-Eye Bat or Lite Stick. They are not for use in pitching machines.
