You Can't Get Any Hotter Than Rawlings' 5150 BBCOR Bat

Rawlings has created its hottest bat yet.

Rawlings' 5150 Alloy -3 Baseball Bat (model number BBCA) features a large sweet spot and a low swing weight, and, best of all, it is BBCOR and BESR approved.

Rawlings developed its own metal-forming process to create the 5150 BBCOR Bat. This process allows for precise wall thickness, resulting in maximum pop and the best trampoline effect available.

Precision-controlled wall thickness creates a maximum rebound zone that gives more flex and a greater sweet spot than other bats.

“This really feels balanced, but you feel that when you do get in the sweet spot, you’re really going to get optimum distance. I think the swing weight of this really feels comfortable and will appeal to the masses,” said Tulane University Head Coach Rick Jones.

“The last two seasons at the University of Virginia, we have had our best two offensive seasons in the school’s history where we have combined to have a .330 batting average and have 60 home runs in each season,” said University of Virginia Head Coach Brian O’Connor. “We’re capable of doing that because of the Rawlings bats and their ability to stay ahead of technology and develop the bats so our players can perform at their maximum level.”
