Primo Glove Butter may be named after Rawlings' finest gloves, but it's perfect for conditioning any top-quality leather glove.
Rawlings Primo Glove Butter is made from 100 percent natural ingredients.
The blend begins with shea butter imported from Africa, known for its moisturizing properties. Harvested from the nuts of the karite tree, shea contains vitamins A and E to help heal dry leather and block the sun’s UV rays.
Other Primo emollients include pomace olive oil, avocado oil and even a bit of beeswax.
A special secret ingredient (first discovered by centuries-old European leatherworkers) helps create a distinctive finish not available in any other glove oil.
To apply Rawlings Primo Glove Butter to your best glove, warm the butter in your fingers and massage it into the leather.
Be sure to apply it to the entire surface of your glove—the pocket, webbing, fingers, lacing, everything.
Don't forget to apply some inside your glove to keep the leather supply through and through.
Reapply Primo Glove Butter at your discretion to keep your glove in top condition.
A cotton cloth is also helpful to buff the leather after application. Rawlings recommends a soft, 100 percent cotton flannel.
Care for your glove like the investment that it is—don't forget the Primo Glove Butter.
