Breaking Down New Patterns in Rawlings' Custom Glove Builder

Have you played with Rawlings' new custom glove builder yet? It shows your selections in real time and gives you a 360-degree-view of your unique glove.

It also has so many new patterns to choose from that we're going to break down some great options.

Eleven new patterns are available:

·         Model number PROSC47 (select CB 11” PROSC47) is an 11” adult glove with a conventional back. It's the shortest glove available.

·         Model number PRO200 (select CB 12” PRO200) is a 12” glove with a conventional back. It was previously model number PRO1000.

·         Model number PRO200 (select FB 12” PRO200) is a 12” glove with the Fastback. It was previously model number PRO1000.

·         Model number PRO302CV (select CV 12.75” PRO302) is a 12.75” glove with a conventional back. It was previously only available with a Fastback. This glove has a deep pocket depth with narrow pocket width, as opposed to the PRO303CV, which has a deep pocket depth with wide pocket width.

·         Model number PROCM33 (select CV 33” PROCM33) is a 33” catcher’s mitt with a conventional back.

·         The following first base mitts have been added:

o   Model number PROFM19 (select CV 13” PROFM19) is a 13” mitt with a conventional back. Choose from the Single Post Double Bar or Modified H webs.

o   Model number PRODCT (select CV 13” PRODCT) is a 13” mitt with a conventional back and the Single Post Double Bar web. It features the Double Ca Thud break in the leather of the mitt above the fingers, which model number PROFM19 does not have.

o   The Albert Pujols pattern, model number PROCMHCB2 (select CV 12.75” PROCMHCB2), is back! It is a 12.75” mitt with a conventional back and the Horizontal Bar with X-Lace web.

o   Model number PROFM18 (select CV 12.5” PROFM18) is a 12.5” mitt with a conventional back. Choose from the Single Post Double Bar or Modified H webs.

o   Model number PROFM20XL (select FB 12.25” PROFM20XL) is a 12.25” mitt with the Fastback. Choose from the Single Post Double Bar or Modified H webs.

o   Model number PROTM (select FB 12” PROTM) is a 12” mitt with the Fastback. It replaces model number PROSSC21. Choose from the Single Post Double Bar or Modified H webs.

There is also a pattern change: Model number PROTB24 has been renamed model number PRO601 (select FB 12.75” PRO601).

1.       Select your glove leather, throwing hand, position, shell back, pattern and web style

2.       Customize your colors for the shell, web, laces, lining, welting, binding, trim and stitching thread

3.       Choose more Options – stamping color, palm pad, index finger pad or hood, middle finger pad or hood, and if you want a sweatband.

4.       Personalize your embroidery color, text, number or flag.

With new camel-colored lacing, Rawlings' Heart of the Hide Dual CoreTM first base mitt is now available.

The Heart of the Hide Dual Core^TM 13” first base mitt (model number PRODCTDCB) features the Single Post Reinforced Double Bar web, a stretchable and snug web that helps the ball stick and not bounce. This mitt replaces Rawlings model number PRODCTDCC.

Like the previous model, this mitt features a Double Ca-Thug style that allows you to mold the end of the glove to scoop the ball.
