Custom Gloves Made Easy!
Your second option is the "Personalized Pro Program" (say that three times fast). This program is currently offered on Pro Preferred, Heart of the Hide, Gold Glove and Heritage Pro series gloves. You have several choices as to how you can personalize your glove here, you can select your lace color and also have your name stitched into the glove on the thumb position. There are two text style options for your name and you can also pick the thread color for the stitching. Your final option is getting a country or state flag stitched on the index finger.
Your third and final option is the "Personalized Nameplate". This option is currently only available on Instinct series gloves which have tabs on the backside of the glove to hold the nameplate in position. With this option you can pick the color of the nameplate, text style and thread color.
All three of these options are great ways to add that special something to your glove to let your opponents know that you mean business. So click on over to RawlingsGear.com today and start building the glove of your dreams. Oh and before I forget, all custom gloves have a 4-6 week turn around time. The Instinct gloves ship out right away, but the nameplate will take 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Pro Preferred 2-Tone Series
So what's up with this line? Well, besides a new look, there are a combination of different materials used on this glove as opposed to the standard Pro Preferred gloves. The big one is the use of Italian Bruciato leather, which is the darker leather on the glove along with the flawless Kip leather that is used on all Pro Preferred gloves. This gives the glove its great 2-Tone look. These gloves are available in 5 popular styles and they even have catcher's and the first base position covered.
I really liked the 11 3/4" model which is the one pictured here. It has a wing tip back and the Pro I pattern really shows off the 2-Tone concept. Unfortunately, they don't offer it for a lefty. That's alright though, I know I'm outnumbered by you "normal" people so Rawlings has to please the ruling class. Regardless, you should still check these gloves out. It's a great new addition to the series and it's just one more reason why more pros choose Rawlings gloves than any other brand. Check em all out here.

Bring On The Gloves!
So what did Rawlings bring to the table this season? Well, to start things off, they've added a 12" model to the Primo line up. If you're familiar with the Primo series, you know that there is not another glove like it on the market. Crafted out of Italian leather, there are only a limited amount of gloves that can be produced each year. They utilize patented Dual Core Technology that has an inner layer with position specific break points that allow your hand to close the glove in the way that your position demands.
Pretty cool stuff, not to mention that the gloves look great as well. We got a chance a couple of weeks ago to check out all the new Rawlings product and they passed around the PRM1200 Primo glove and I have to say, (It was broken in) it was one of the best feeling gloves I've ever had on my hand. So yes the break in work was already done and these gloves do require the player to do a large percentage of this work, but the payoff is so worth it. It really did feel like an extension of my hand. The new 12" model features a Basket Web pattern and Conventional Back which makes this a great glove choice for pitcher and infield positions.
So enough of my babble, if you're in the market for a high end glove, I would recommend that you check out the Primo line. With the addition of the 12" model, this is a really well rounded series of gloves and also a glove that is built to last, season after season.
Check em out at RawlingsGear.com and get "The Next Line Of Defense." Up to bat for next time will be new Pro Preferred models.

Rawlings RUSH Lite Gold Bats
The new design has a great combination of balance, barrel length and handle flex. The engineers at Rawlings took a long hard look at the weight distribution of the previous RUSH Gold bats and the new "Lite" design significantly redistributes weight for a smoother, lightweight feel. This in turn leads to more bat speed, power and pinpoint control.
The RPM Composite Dynamic Flex Handle is up to 80% stiffer that competitive models. This makes the bats ideal for players that prefer multi-piece performance without the wasted energy of overly flexible handles.
These bats also use LiquidMetal Gold Barrel Technology. This material has twice the strength of titanium and maximizes Pure Energy Transfer and trampoline. This means that the ball is going to leave the bat faster, which is the goal of all bat designs.
Rawlings then tops it off with the Ultra Tough Low Rider End Plug which can withstand direct impacts up to 105 MPH and the low profile design reduces damage from miss hits off the end of the bat.
So again, if you're in to 2-piece bats, you owe it to yourself to check out these bats. The weight distribution is great, the graphics were redesigned and well, it's just a darn good bat. Check them out over at RawlingsGear.com.
They are Available in four drops:
High School / Collegiate (-3) - BBRSHGL
Senior League (-5) - SLRSHGL5
Senior League (-10) - SLRSHGL10
Youth Baseball (-13) - YBRSHGL
Next time we'll dive into Baseball Gloves and talk about all the new things Rawlings has going this year. Stay tuned.

New College World Series Gear in Stock!
So what does Rawlings have to offer this season? Quite a bit and we'll start with a new bat line-up. For this season Rawlings completely redesigned their RUSH line of bats. Let's take a look.
First up are the completely redesigned RUSH Lite Composite bats. After looking at ways to improve last year's model Rawlings came back with a new RPM 2.0 Composite design. These bats are now 100% carbon fiber with no fiberglass. This is a more expensive material, but it helped reduce weight for better bat speed and more control. They also used a new weave pattern that improved the profile and barrel flexibility.
The Tournament Flex Handle is now 100% carbon fiber and with the new weave pattern it added stiffness vs. the prior model. Also included on these bats is the Rawlings Ultra Tough 105 MPH End Plug, which can withstand direct impacts up to 105 MPH.
So what does this mean for you? Well, you get a stiffer bat with better balance and less weight and we already know that carbon fiber bats are far superior in performance vs. aluminum. So check one of these bats out today. They're available at several different levels:
High School / Collegiate (-3) - BBRSHCL
Senior League (-5) - SLRSHCL5
Senior League (-10) - SLRSHCL10
Youth Baseball (-12) - YBRSHCL
So there you have it, the new RUSH Lite Composite bats. Check them all out at RawlingsGear.com. In the next post we'll talk about the new RUSH Lite Gold series.
